Charles Leclerc

It is summer break in Formula 1, at the end of this month the battle will continue again. Max Verstappen, about whom we wrote earlier, is in the lead and he seems to be heading for a second championship. But the matter has not yet been decided, the surprising number 2 of this season, the Monegasque Charles Leclerc is well behind him but the gap may still be closed. Last year Leclerc was seventh in the championship, 200 points behind Verstappen, but now he is doing much better which is a good reason to take a look at his radix.

What immediately attracts our attention is the conjunction of Mars which is Lord 1 and thus the most outspoken Leclerc himself, who is conjunct Venus, Lord 7 of opponents. The position of Lord 1 shows where you stand in life, where automatically a lot of attenion is focussed. So that is battle with others which is greatly enhanced by the fact that this conjunction falls on royal Antares with its intensely red pure Mars energy. Antares gives life-or death struggles, the royal nature of the star indicates that there will be a lot of success associated with it.

Lords  1 and 7 are both on Antares, Venus/lord 7 is closest, but Mars Lord 1 with his fiery nature picks up the most easily the warrior energy of the star. Of the planetary parts, the part of Saturn falls on Venus/Lord 7 of opponents, Saturn is essence of slowing down. Mars / Lord 1’s speed  is much higher than normal and it makes a very close sextile with Jupiter the expander, who is also Lord 5 of fun, sports and games. So when we talk about racing, it’s clear that Mars Lord 1 will be faster than Lord 7.

Abundance

Other parts of Leclerc’s radix complement this picture. His Lord 10, that which always plays a role in his public activities, is the Sun of winning. That Sun is on royal Spica in opposition with the Moon the significator of subjects and subordinates, the Moon in this position during Full Moon is totally dominated by the Sun. After all, the Moon is at that moment completely filled with the light of the Sun she reflects. Lord 10 therefore also points to struggle and gain, the position in the very weak 12th House is compensated by the narrow sextile that the Sun makes on the MC degree.

Of course, the parts of the Moon (Pars Fortunae) and the Sun (Pars Solis) also stand out because they are near the Descendant but that has no meaning  because that is automatically so at Full Moon. What does have a meaning is the fact that the antiscion of the Pars Solis is on the MC, because that is not automatically the case at Full Moon. The solar essence of the abundance and dominance falls at the point of the work, which also is conjunct Algenubi the Lion’s Mouth. You will get a clear picture like this if you involve stars, planet parts, dignities / receptions and antiscia  without these you will loose a lot of sharpness, as modern astrology shows so clearly.

Napoleon

It is a troubled time with a lot of tension in the world, food shortages, hyperinflation, lack of raw materials, epidemics, the war in Ukraine, wereldwide drougths, extreme heat and an increasing threat of war in the Far East. China is making it very clear that after Hong Kong it will also add Taiwan back to its territory and that no one should intervene. This strong turbulence has to do with the transition of the Great Conjunctions of Saturn and Jupiter (GCs) into the Air signs in 2020.

In order to get a better understanding of the meaning of that transition and how long it will last, it is a good idea to look back at the last element transition of the GCs before this and what was going on then. That started in 1802 when the GCs passed from the Fire Signs to Earth for the first time, the next GC in 1821 went back to Fire, to finally transfer to Earth in 1842. We have also just had such a transition in steps, with in 1980 the GCs for the first time to Air, in 2000 again back to Earth and in 2020 definitively over to Air. What can the comparison with the 19th Century  tell us about our time?

Orgy of violence

The transitional period from 1802 to 1842 was also extremely turbulent, the ultimate disaster of the French Revolution and the merciless cruel terror, the chaos and the wars that resulted from it had already taken place in 1789 as a prelude to the transition time. A Napoleon was needed to put an end to the massacre and the extremely destructive orgy of violence of the Revolution, but also Napoleon raced as a tornado through Europe in the first 15 years of the 19th century. In 1842, the transfer to Earth became final and Earth established itself. The modern industrial nation-state arose, liberal democracy emerged, culminating in the year of revolution 1848.

It will be clear that in our times Corona marks the moment of the transition from Earth to Air in 2020 as a watershed. But the comparison with the 19th Century shows that it takes a while before a new balance is found.  After the final transition to Earth in 1842, the liberal-democratic revolutions of 1848 followed. The recent transition of the GCs to Air in 2020 is a parallel with the  transition of  the GCs in 1842 and so we may conclude that it will remain very restless for some time to come, the new Air time will haver to settle and this will not be done overnight and not without a struggle. It is  to be expected that the world will remain instable until just before the opposition of Saturn and Jupiter in 2030.

Liberal democracy

More tangibly, this will mean that what arose in the Earth Age will have to go: the fossile-driven industrial production state, liberal democracy and the dominance of the West. In 2029, just before a series of oppositions of Saturn and Jupiter, we can expect a final dramatic and violent climax in the transition phase. So we see around us now the establishment of the Air-time and all the frictions that that goes with it. China will replace the West as the dominant worldpower, so it will not be long before we will hear about military action in the Far East. In Taiwan, they know all about it.
